Holy shat. I don’t think I’ve laughed this much in a movie in a long, long time – maybe my entire life. I’m so numb to these square comedies that do nothing for me, so when a comedy like this comes along I can’t help but to be overjoyed. I have a very deep, weird, sense of humor, and this film tickled every sense. I found myself laughing hysterically every 2 minutes in the theater, as was the rest of the audience. You also have to love the art-imitating-life angle of these actors playing themselves. You have the real sense that there were subtle, but real jabs to each others’ flaws. They pinned Danny McBride seemingly perfectly. He really seems like a complicated and volatile dude in real life, and in the film he played perfectly into it. Loads of respect to Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the team behind Superbad, who were able to push this group of actors to their comedic limits. I very much recommend you go see this film now, even if you’ve already seen it. Also, here’s a few BTS videos I found..
